Greengirls Posted October 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Looking for some advice on taxi or shuttle transportation in Miami. I have five in my party and will be needing transportation from airport to hotel, hotel to port, and port to airport. We have one power wheelchair that does not collapse and needs to be driven on a ramp or lift into a vehicle. I would love to be able to book this ahead of time if possible. Thanks for your help.. starting to get travel jitters. Beth
raindropsalways Posted October 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2011 Beth, There is Super Shuttle ( http://www.supershuttle.com/en/MIAAirportShuttleMiami.html) in Miami and they do offer a wheelchair accessible vehicle with plenty of passenger space. We also have Super Shuttle for MSP, however I have not ever used it here. Taxis: I do not know if the wheelchair accessible taxis could accommodate five people. You could write to them to verify. The location of your hotel to the Port could be a factor. In the past six weeks, we made three trips on our scooters with our luggage over the bridge to and from the port. I live in Crystal; where are you located. Betty
