Embarkation at Miami

So just wondering, when can you board in Miami. It says 12:30pm, we are staying there the night before, so when can we get there that they usually start boarding customers?

I would personally show up a bit earlier (I am always pretty anxious to get onboard :) )....probably around 10:30 - 11 am - so you can be one of the first on the ship! :D

Typically Miami starts to board sometime around 11:30ish.........as do most ports with 4pm departures........I usually get to the pier around 10:30 and am having lunch by 11:45..........cabins won't be available until after 1:30 though.

Sometimes by 11:30 if they clear the ship on time.

Normally order a cab to arrive at the hotel (IC) which is very close to the port at 10:30 so in line by 10:45 or 11:00

If the cruise coming in is a shorter trip then usually they are ready to start boarding sooner.

 

Shorter trips =

• less luggage to unload
  
• more passengers using self-assist

Ditto what others have said- we try to get there around 10:30-11 so we can be one of the first on the ship and eating lunch by noon.

We always stay in Miami the night before a cruise. We leave the hotel by 10 am and are at the port by 10:30. Are usually on the ship by 11:45.

We usually arrive around 10:45 and are eating on the lido by 11:30. Usually get zone 6 or 7 around that time.

On our Destiny cruise last November out of Miami, we got there at 11:30 and literally walked right on the ship. Everyone else had already boarded and there was no one at the check in lines. Speediest embarkation we ever had.
