Ok were leaving on Nov 9th on the Golden to Hawaii, I already Know that some people say they are Closed while in Hawaii and some say they Open in some of the ports for Awhile...

My Questions for anyone thats Sailed on the Golden Recently Are:

How was the Casino?...Staff/Dealers....Freindly or Stuffy?...I've had some past Pit Bosses who were great and other times seemed like they didnt want to be there or just Plain Rude...

Slots?...Types of Machines?.....Any Progressive Video Poker Machines over $4,000?...Newest Regular Slots you saw?

Poker Tournaments?....How Many a Day?...Times people would play Live Cash Games?

3-Card Poker Tournaments?....Read Recently where they were having these with a Buy in of $10 but No Specifics.....

Over All Casino Comments?

Any Good WIN:D or Even Lose:( Stories?

Or Any Other Comments About the Casino or Golden in General....

Thanks:D

hi,

i did this cruise about this time last year.

staff were a mixture, some nice and freindly, some miserable,i do remember the casino host was a really nice lady,i cant remember her name but she was a blonde from an eastern eurpean country, bulgaria i think.

never played slots so i cant comment on them.

there used to be 1 poker tourney a day about 10 am i think but the daily

platters will tell you the times.

cash poker would start as soon as the tourney finished and there would nearly always be a game till about 7 pm when people would go to dinner.game would start again about 9pm but die off about 11 pm.

there was no three card poker tourney at the time but that might have changed now

I remember that casino host from our cruise last year. Very nice person and did a good job. A couple of the dealers left something to be desired but there was no crap table so I didn't spend a lot of time there. But they do have entertainment right next to the casino from Karaoke to real singers. And the bartender was terrific. I liked the whole ship actually.

I doubt he's still on board but they had a golf instructor named Mike who was very good also. Let me know if he's still there. Thanks.

My mistake. There was one on board. I was thinking of the Pacific Princess I was on that didn't have one. That was the only ship I have been on that didn't have one but it's a smaller ship. And Craps is my favorite game. You'd think I would remember that.
