Silver spirit service questions

We are thinking about a 14 day Med cruise on the spirit this summer as we like the iten. Just talked to some friends who were on the spirit last summer and were very unhappy with the service despite their very positive experiences in the past on other silversea ships. They had an owners suite and They could not get into alternative restaurants and said the supposed butler was non existent. We enjoyed a cruise on the whisper a few years ago, but have subsequently been on seabourn odyssey and soujourn. we have been very happy with these ships but do not like the itens. For this summer.

Any comments on the spirit? Will like good service and would go for a silver suite, but if can never get alternative restaurants or services we would not be happy. Looking for feedback from experienced silver spirit cruisers!

We're aboard right now for the 4th on Silver Spirit. Don't know about the Med, but we've never had trouble with Sieshin, La Terrazza, or le Champagne reservations if you're flexible on time. If you're concerned about it just go to one of the maitre'ds as soon as you board and make your reservations. Just don't book an alternative restaurant on formal night, or you'll miss a fine meal in the Restaurant.
