Port of Miami to Port Everglades

OK Cruise Critic experts......sure this has been asked before but......anyone have any experience/suggestions for transfers from Port of Miami to Port Everglades?? Back to back Celebrity and Royal Caribbean sailings next month and wondering who?/where?/how much?, etc for transfers. Anyone have any good experiences? Anyone have any BAD experiences?? We're arriving and departing the same day. Thanks all!

You could use one of the popular FLL based shuttle services like SAS (www.ridesas.com) or QLS -- fares start at about $15+ per person. The ride takes about 35-45 minutes. ;)

 

A taxi will run $85+ for the same run. Larry's Limos has been suggested for Miami service, usually a little less than cab fare and a much nicer ride.

 

You could rent a car one way from Miami to FLL - both Avis and Hertz have downtown locations very close to POM ($10 cab ride if they will not shuttle). A car will give you some options in case you want to explore South Beach or do some shopping before checking in for your second cruise.

We use, and LOVE Howard's Transportation. Small company, punctual and very reasonable. Can be a private ride for $65 for 2 or $13 a piece for 5 or more. 954-649-0099. Tell him the Goucher's from Texas sent you. We just used him again earlier this month after our B2B on the Celebrity Millie.

...for the recommendations. Will look into em. Have checked on rental car but it's more expensive than shuttle. We knew the Cruise Critic experts would come through!
