Captain Heinz and Buck Island Charters

We have gone out to Buck Island on the Teroro with Captain Heinz twice, had a great time. We liked leaving from the Marina rather than downtown, lots of free parking and they "sail" rather than motor to the island. No lunch included which worked for us, more time at Buck Island.

The other plus on going on Teroro (which we love!) is that they snorkel first and then go to the gorgeous beach. I find this a more relaxing way to visit Buck Island. And the crowds are a bit less at the snorkeling spot when you go there first.

Here is the website and they have an email listed there, I suspect you'd have to take a taxi to Green Cay Marina, We were staying on St Croix both times we sailed with them so we drove ourselves. I believe when we sailed in January last year it was something like $65 a person, without lunch. Most brought something with them. The other poster is correct, we snorkled (escorted by them) first, them pulled up to the shore of Buck Island, had plenty of time on the island, ate our self packed lunch and sailed back.
