Ice Cream on Star?

One of my boys is curious about the ice cream situation on the Star. Do they have free soft serve or regular ice cream and is it free? Cones or sundaes? Thanks!

Free soft serve for certain. Can do cones or sundaes (at least they have bowls and toppings near by). I didn't notice any "regular"...

The regular ice cream is out the back of the buffet near the door that leads to the kids playground. They have cones.

The soft-serve was at the back of the buffet and the hard ice cream was further back just before the kids pool. The ice cream bar was open 12 - 5.:)

the soft serve in the buffet usually has hrs til 9:30p and opens around lunchtime.

Big fans of the Star here, having been on her 4 times now. But we found the soft serve ice cream (from the machine) to be the texture that is more like frozen yogurt.

 

The ice cream served in the dining rooms is great, as well as the ice cream outside of the gym - at the Barong Juice Bar on the starboard side on deck 12 aft.
