Unusual sharps container question

Recommended Posts

My wife was diagnosed with a condition that requires use of injectable medication that is packaged in special 2 part mixing syringes last year. On our most recent cruise in January we requested a sharps container from the Carnival which was delivered by the room steward, unfortunately the small "travel" sharps container opening was slightly too small for the mixing connector on the syringe which required somewhat awkward disassembly of the syringe (plunger removal) to let it fit through the opening on the sharps container. So I was wondering if all Carnival ships use the same style sharps container, or if they would allow someone to bring their own sharps container, or if you have any alternative thoughts on dealing with this matter? I plan to email Carnival about this issue, but their web site is not working right at the moment.

thanks

Thanks for providing. Much to early for my little brain to function.
