Car Rental Agencies at the Pier in Los Angelas

Hi CC members, the solid source of vital travel information.

 

We are cruising on the Vision out of LA and were thinking of renting a car for the day we get off the ship. Our flight doesn't leave until 7:00 so we thought we would rent a car at the pier, maybe go to the aquarium for a few hours and then drop the car off at LAX.

 

My question is, what car rental agencies have offices right at the pier?

There aren't any car rental places at the pier itself, however the Sheraton Harbor Hotel in San Pedro has an Enterprise office in their lobby. They also offer free shuttle service to/from the cruise terminal.

I :) believe the Enterprise is closed on Sundays.

I think you are correct Bill D. I was on the Enterprise website and discovered that they are closed on Sunday, at least at that location near the San Pedro pier. They also indicated on the website that they don't usually do one way rentals.

 

So it appears we need another alternative. Any one have any other suggestions?
