golfing on St. Thomas?

Any public golf courses on St. Thomas? My dh is already making me a golf widow and we haven't even gotten there yet!:cool:

I don't know about public couses but here is a golf course on St Thomas.

As far as I can tell that may be the only course on St Thomas. Here is a link that shows it and a couple on St Croix.

I don't think there are any "public" course in the USVI as there are in the US mainland.

Yes thats right there is only one golf course on St. Thomas; Mahogany Run Golf Course. There are 3 on St. Croix.

 

On St. Thomas the university campus has a golf "field"... it used to be a course but it isn't quite so anymore. There are no holes, its not maintained etc. so some residents use it just to practice their swing, get some excercise.

Played Mahogany Run on April 5 2005 while on our Caribbean Princess cruise. This is a spectacular course with beautiful scenery.Tough conditions though & very narrow fairways accuracy is essental give up distance for accuracy very dry while there so tough to get it to stick on the greens but am glad we played it. Devils triangle is aptly named 3 tough holes but beautiful scenery with the ocean backdrop. Hope you get a chance to play you wont regret.
