carla63 Posted November 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2011 We just stayed here the end of Oct. Could not find a thing to complain about! Great room for comfort, breakfast in morning was nice. It was also a short distance to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza...all in our group of 6 loved the pizza and hotwings. They were very nice to store our luggage (lots of it) till we could check in. Computer available also for printing boarding passes.
mollyanne Posted November 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2011 We stayed at the Fairfield last night. Very nice staff and the shuttle service is great. The pool was fantastic and warm! We left before breakfast but the overnight desk agent went above and beyond for one person - getting her cereal and milk to eat on the way. It's a little far from the action but the shuttle will take you to several nearby restaurants. We tried the Rustic Inn and were very happy with the food and service. The rooms were a little on the small side - or maybe it was just all the luggage we piled in there! Definitely a great place for a night or two. Jyllie63 Posted November 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2011 We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites and found it very nice and clean. It was raining hard so we didn't use the pool. The shuttle took us to TGI Friday's for dinner and then picked us up when we were ready. I got a great rate of $69 plus tax on Last Minute Travel. I would definitely stay here again. The cab fare to Port Everglades metered in at just under $20. They have a shuttle for $8 per person, so for 9 of us two cabs were much cheaper. baltogirl Posted November 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2011 My first time cruising, but the person who booked our group cruise also booked many of us at the Ramada Inn at the Airport/Port. Not sure if her and her husband have stayed there before or not, but it looks really nice.
