In your opinion..best beach in St Thomas?

Weighing up Shore Excursions for St Thomas, looking probably at some sort of sailing trip which combines snorkel and beach time as we have one snorkeller who loves being out on the water and one beach lover!

 

Magens Bay, Christmas Cove, Honeymoon Beach, Turtle Cove, Trunk Bay, Sapphire Beach....which would be your "must do" and which is "give it a miss"?:)

Hit Sapphire for the beach AND snorkeling

 

Miss Trunk Bay, too crowded and not a good snorkel destination.

Magen's Bay was not the best for snorkeling. Did have the little 'fott fettsih' fish nibbling on our toes everyone once it a while....it does not hurt, more like a tickle. Great beach playing for in the water.......very little waves and no undertow when we were there last December.

How about Coki Beach. We spend the day there a few years a go and had a great time. Our kids liked this beach better than Megan's Bay. I will try and post some pictures of the Coki Beach.

Coki is our favorite STT beach but gets very crowded on ship days because it is small. But if you like a more active beach I would recommend it fot the beach (softer sand) and snorkeling. Park at Coral World to avoid vendors.
