Bike Seats for toddlers on Castaway Cay

When looking at booking bikes on Castaway Cay we noticed something about bike seats for children. We have a 5 year old who we want to rent a smaller bike for and a 2 year old who we would like to take along on our ride. Anyone know if this is possible?

We rented bikes last week when we were there. They have all types of bikes. Some with child seats, some small ones with and without training wheels, medium size kids bikes and of coruse adult size both male and female. Plenty of each type and helmets are available too.

 

The paths are all paved with water available in several places if you need it. They look like brown boxes but inside is a yellow barrel full of ice cold water and paper cups to use to drink the water.

 

We have never reserved in advance, just walked up and rented the bike on the spot. Never had any problems getting them on the spot.

The island can get quite warm in the afternoon so I would advise riding bikes in the morning, then do other events later in the day.

One more thing. Since you have kids you may tend to be a few minutes past 1 hour rental to do all the trails. Thats ok to be a few minutes late as they do not check you back in. You just ride into the bike area and park the bike and walk away.

 

They know sometimes with kids it may take 10 or 15 minutes longer.

Or you can rent for 2 hours but usually one hour works just fine.

 

They always told us not to worry about it if we were a few minutes late.
