CruiseLuvver Posted November 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Last time we were there (but it was nearly a year ago, so there's always a chance this will be a bit different), there was a small shop selling groceries and small gifts that was open nearly all the time. Then there was the big shop that sold larger gifts, jewellery, bags, clothes, etc. A jewellery shop selling some very nice jewellery! There was a stand outside every day as wel, which had different things on it - rings one day, P&O branded stuff another day, 'chains by the foot', that sort of thing. Wouldn't say cheaper, no. Prices not ridiculous, but definitely a bit more expensive than buying the equivalent items at home. There were some sales in the second week, though, and that did make a difference. Can't remember when the nightclub closed (early hours, definitely) - the music seemed to be whatever was in the charts at the time. Edit: Oh yes, there was a coffee stand that sold fabby boxes of chocs!

Freecall Posted November 14, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2011 In addition to the usual shops there is now the duty free store which sells booze and fags. This is pushed really hard with flyers in the cabins and so on. We have not actually bought anything there although it is pretty cheap.
