Post Cruise-Luggage in FLL???

Any good ideas for storing luggage while waiting for a 5 p.m. flight out of FLL? We are considering an excursion to pass the time, but I'd like to check out other options since the excursions only look so-so.

Why not rent a car for the day? You can store luggage in trunk and sightsee with the car. We've never done it but it was suggested to us before we got an earlier flight. The daily rental rate is about 20.00 to 25.00. just a suggestion

Check with your pre-cruise hotel, we've done this in Tampa. Return to hotel and store your luggage there. We also used their facilities until we went to the airport. You could also get a day room for the afternoon.

You can get a Chevy Cavalier from Alamo for $25/day at the airport.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Yankee clipper pre-cruise. It was a great venue, right on the beach. We got a ride from an independent van out front to the pier, $5 per person. Because we stayed there, they stored our luggage post-cruise for several hours, we sat on the beach AND had lunch in their restaurant. It was great. I would highly recommend this hotel, try priceline, 3-star, beach. Good Luck!! (If you stay at any hotel, they would probably accomodate you post-cruise for the day, with a nice tip for them!):D
