Water taxi

As soon as you get off the pier and past the gates there are free standing awnings with people selling tours, etc. One of them was selling water taxi tickets on a black/white speed boat over to Klein Bonaire. This was PERFECT because it was fast (the ferrys and pirate ship were SLOW) and because it came and went every 20 min so we could plan our own day. It cost $15 per person. This was just last week.

Is it just as easy to get on the eay back to the ship. Also, does it leave you in a good place for snorkling and the beach

Here are a few pictures of the water taxi and the amount of shade at No Name beach on Klein Bonaire

When you get off the ship, walk thru the gates at the pier, turn Left, cross the street, & it's the 3rd or 4th booth down. The first taxi leaves for Klein Bonaire at 9:30. It leaves Bonaire on the 1/2 hr. and pick up at Klein Bonaire is on the hour. $20.00 pp RT. There is shade & a restroom on the boat. They sell bottled water too. They will let you drop your belongs on no name beach, then you can stay on the boat, and he drops you in the water to drift snorkel back to no name beach. The drift snorkel takes about an hr. It's good snorkeling. We got back to No Name beach just as he was returning for a pick up @ 11:00. . We were walking toward his boat, waving, but I guess he didn't see us, as he pulled out. We had to wait another hr. for him to return. Besides the drift snorkel there's not a lot to do. I would have hurried just a bit more, so we could have caught the first ferry back.
