Most likely yes, but you really should check the T&Cs of your service provider.

I have Verizon and did use it in both ports without additional fees a few years ago.

I have AT&T and it worked in the USVI with no extra charge.

I have T-Mobile and those are the only two ports that I get service included. But do as Duck says and check your contract.

We have T-Mobile and in both ports no charges. Look at your service providers coverage map online and it will tell you if you can use it for no extra charge or call them.

I also have Verizon and used mine in both San Juan and St Thomas with no extra fees. I did call ahead of time and make sure my international calling was active. That is when they told me that both of those ports are considered the same as if I was in the continental US.

I did check and ATT said no problem. St. Thomas is fine……No charge

Shhhh.. don't tell my hubby this! The best part of cruising for me is the NO PHONE part! If he knew that there was no additional fee he would be on the phone 1/2 the day in St. Thomas in December and in San Juan when we sail this summer! So let's just keep this our little secret... OK?

Sprint as well and no extra charges, left phone off in all other ports just to be safe. It was nice to be phone free for 6 days.

My little Tracfone works from both places, same as in Continental USA.

Verizon is basically the same as if you were in the continental US for San Juan (text, call, data). St. Thomas is $1.99 per minute to talk and text is like domestic at home.

i have tracfone also, prepaid. they use at&t and verizon towers.

last week i had no problem using it in st. thomas. no extra minutes used or any charges.

but i would check this out if you get usage charges billed.

AT&T has normal service in both locations (no extra fees), Verizon did not but that may have since changed.
