Praia de Rocha

We sail on the Legend of the Seas on 21st May - one of our ports is Praia de Rocha - I cannot find any reference to it on these boards - has anyone any useful info. on places to visit please?

I'm preety sure I already replied to the same question on this forum but I can't find it.

Anyway, Praia da Rocha means "Rock beach", and the name tells it all. It's a beatifull beach, with clean sand and clear water. You can go on a boat trip to the caves and/or stay on the beach all day. Or go to Portimao (the closest city) for a walk and shopping. Whatever you do, you should have a fish/shelfish lunch, with Vinho Verde (Green Wine). You will thank me for years ;o)
