Any information on Folkestone Marine Park would be appreciated! How far from the ship? Taxi costs? Good place to snorkel? Are there better places to snorkel in Barbados?

We've done Folkstone several times, once via taxi and a couple of times via boat. The time we went by taxi, it was about a 20-25 minute drive, but I don't remember how much it was. We've also done Carlisle. If you're looking for reef, there's more of that at Folkstone, however time of year matters - a lot. We've always gone in January. The water is calmer, as previously mentioned, at Carlisle, and clearer. There's a fair amount of north swell that affects Folkstone. There's a wreck in the Carlisle Bay area that's easily reachable from shore.
