Please help with uploading photo problem !

So, I have my pictures on an external site (Photobucket) and oddly enough, I have done this before, but for some reason am running into probs. When I copy the link and try to paste it using the "insert image" icon, all I get is a little box with a red "X" in it. What am I doing wrong ??

It sounds like you are trying to link the photobucket page instead of the actual image.

Well, in Photobucket, I click on the one picture I want to upload and then copy the loaction of that photo. I am so frustrated. I have been able to upload lots of pictures in the past.....

Are you using the IMG code from the selection?? I just went to photobucket found this pic and selected that and pasted into the insert image icon.. it worked:confused: I also right clicked on the pic and seleted copy image url and pasted it the same way and it worked... I am using vista so I dont know if you have the copy image url option...

Works for me. I don't know what to tell you, either your link is malformed or maybe the photo is blocked from sharing.

Make sure you're using the right information. I don't use the image button on the bar above the reply window... I just use the Image Code and paste it where I want it in the post...

Well, I can't figure this out. Copied to image code for the pic and I still get a red X.
