Ykgorbie Posted November 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2011 So, I have my pictures on an external site (Photobucket) and oddly enough, I have done this before, but for some reason am running into probs. When I copy the link and try to paste it using the "insert image" icon, all I get is a little box with a red "X" in it. What am I doing wrong ?? big_duck Posted November 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2011 It sounds like you are trying to link the photobucket page instead of the actual image.

big_duck Posted November 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Works for me. I don't know what to tell you, either your link is malformed or maybe the photo is blocked from sharing.
*Mach* Posted November 21, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Make sure you're using the right information. I don't use the image button on the bar above the reply window... I just use the Image Code and paste it where I want it in the post... :)
Ykgorbie Posted November 22, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted November 22, 2011 [/img] Well, I can't figure this out. Copied to image code for the pic and I still get a red X.

Ykgorbie Posted November 22, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Ok, thanks all for your help - it worked but not if I use the "insert image" icon above. Have to paste it directly here without icon.
