BEach/ Resort Recommendation

We love Lobster's Alive which is right next to the Boatyard. If you rent two chairs and an umbrella, you will get three drink coupons. I believe it was $5.00 for each lounger and the same for the umbrella. The rum punch is great! ;)

If I remember right, the cost of transportation from the port was $3.00 or $4.00 each. There were vans just as you got outside the building at the port and they asked where you wanted to go.. some people were dropped off in town, some were going to the Boatyard/Lobster's Alive while others were heading out further to different beaches. They pack the vans FULL , and head out making the necessary stops!

The van price to the beach sounds good. What about transportation back to the ship?

I'm sure you'd have no problem getting a taxi back to the ship.. You could ask someone from Lobster's Alive to call one for you. We walked into town to shop a bit after we were here (about 15 minutes walk), then we got a taxi from town back to the ship.

We are looking at doing this day pass through Island Marketing. It looks wonderful, just what we are looking for, relaxing on a beautiful beach.

Has anyone have any feedback on this one?

That is the Hilton Barbados Resort: http://www.hiltonbarbadoshotel.com

You might want to look up reviews for the resort to get a better idea :)

Enjoy, it looks really nice.

We went to the Hilton and booked it with Island Marketing. This was the only place we found the day rate of $40. We paid our deposit online to guarantee our reservation and paid the rest when we got there. It was easy and we had a great day, no crowds, nice resort, great service. If you want a beach day in Barbados, this one is great.
