hensnchicks Posted November 22, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 22, 2011 anyway to view this larger? and more clear? what movies were they showing? I know they showed Thor and Soul Surfer but that was all that I noticed. We did not see any movies but were blown away by the Ice show, Up in the Air and Saturday Night Fever! bajathree Posted November 22, 2011 Author #14 Share Posted November 22, 2011 No problem....enjoy:)....just a heads up....they originally had SNF scheduled for pre-booking online for Day 3 Cozumel....but changed it once aboard to Day 4 AT SEA....not sure if this is a permanent change or not.....but it made for a busy last sea day....2 ice shows....2 showings of SNF and then Quest at 11:15pm. uksimonusa Posted November 22, 2011 #15 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Thanks Steve, great to have an idea of the new schedule for LB, just wish they would put the smoking symbol on the Compass, so that we can figure out which bars to aim for, instead of posting it daily at GS:(

bajathree Posted November 22, 2011 Author #18 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Thanks Steve, great to have an idea of the new schedule for LB, just wish they would put the smoking symbol on the Compass, so that we can figure out which bars to aim for, instead of posting it daily at GS:( I know they allowed smoking in the Hoof & Claw...something they didn't allow last I was on Freedom...and Bolero's had plenty smoking along with the casino....there certainly were no lack of smokers aboard. Hi Steve - now I REALLY want to go on LOS :D did you see SNF? How was it? It was very good...however different than the production shows of Hairspray and Chicago. This show actually uses film combined with the acting. The dancing is excellent. I think you have to be familiar with the storyline of the movie to really understand the show (which I grew up in the SNF era).....I am curious on how well SNF went over in Europe....and wonder if the younger crowd even knows SNF. You also don't see the orchestra as they are behind stage the entire time. While the music is great I forget that the storyline of SNF is a bit depressing. If I had to rate the 3 shows they would be in the following order...best being first: Hairspray Chicago Saturday Night Fever
hensnchicks Posted November 22, 2011 #19 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Hi Steve - now I REALLY want to go on LOS :D did you see SNF? How was it? I'm not Steve but I thought SNF was fantastic!!! Even my husband was very impressed! It was our first cruise and we did not know what to expect with the quality of the shows and were very pleased by all that we saw. I can't wait to book another cruise :D

hensnchicks Posted November 22, 2011 #21 Share Posted November 22, 2011 I know they allowed smoking in the Hoof & Claw...something they didn't allow last I was on Freedom...and Bolero's had plenty smoking along with the casino....there certainly were no lack of smokers aboard. I was surprised at the number of smokers. My daughter is very sensitive to smoke and would hold her nose when we walked through the casino and other areas. We even had issues with a smoker in the pool but we just moved and had a great time.

Good excuse to book a cruise don't you think? ;)

My DH doesn't really like the broadway type shows (except Jersey Boys which we've seen 5 times!!!) but he's a big SNF fan so would definitely enjoy it I'm sure. :D
