Spender Nui Posted November 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2011 Are tables for 2 readily available? Are any private or are they almost touching? Any recommendations for a good one with privacy?
Hapytocruise Posted November 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2011 There are a few GREAT tables and alot of tables almost touching. I know for sure table #409 top balcony on the rail is very separate as we were lucky enough to be seated there. IF you do not like your table assignment you could opt to be transferred to the select dining - easy to get a nice table for 2 around same time as regular late dining. Spender Nui Posted November 23, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Thanks for the information. Never changed from traditional to select. Is this a problem after boarding?
Gonzo70 Posted November 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Thanks for the information. Never changed from traditional to select. Is this a problem after boarding? Depends if there is space in select; select has become fairly popular so there might not be space. Best to switch now if it is available and that is what you want. CaroleV Posted November 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 23, 2011 We specified a private table several times. We ended up with a private table for 2 next to the wine tower & were very happy. There is no way I would sit at a large table or a table an inch away from another table. We would have eaten in the specialty restaurants or buffets rather than that. No problem sharing a table for breakfast or lunch but dinner...no.
Mr Blue Sky Posted November 23, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Hello CaroleV, We had a table for two on Equinox, second sitting, we were near to our neighbours but they were a lovely couple from Italy on their honeymoon and we had a fun time chatting to them, but this may not appeal to everyone, we usually pop along to the restaurant once we have been to our cabin on the first day, find the table number card, and check out if we are happy with its position, its then a good time to alter with the restaurant staff. Have a lovely cruise on Silhouette. Mrs Blue Sky
