MV Discovery To Be Laid Up In Winter?

I am wondering if the lovely MV Discovery is going to be laid up during the winter season 2012- the Voyages of Discovery website is only showing voyages up to November 2012 for the ship and then nothing all the way until the 5th of March, 2013. Even if they were going to completely re-build the ship it wouldn't take that long!

If they can't have two ships sailing they can withdraw the Voyager, the Discovery doesn't have that many years left as is, which is a shame, and I completely adore that vessel, looking to cruise again on her in 2013.

 

Does anyone have any more of an insight on what is happening ?

Discovery is undergoing extensive refurbs during this time.

 

.....During this period mv Discovery will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment during a three-month dry dock period, including teak decking, expansion of public areas, cabin improvements, updated furnishing and developments to dining areas, returning refreshed in spring 2013.

And hopefully replacing the port holes which leak and are subject to breakage during "inclement" weather.
