Virga Posted November 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2011 We've been to both ports before - Nassau several times - and this time we want some good fresh local seafood. Caribbean lobster might not be good cold water lobster, but we love it just the same. Where should we go? I'm trolling trip advisor like crazy, but most of the great locals places are all about the conch - and it's normally fried, which I'm hoping to avoid. Not too terribly concerned with cost, but don't want to spend a small fortune, either. Any ideas?
scubadavedl Posted November 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2011 I was in Nassau in May and want to go out to eat so we asked a cab driver for a good place to go and he took us to a place called the Poop deck they really had good fresh seafood. nodogkisses Posted November 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Just had grilled lobster at Billy Joe's On The Beach in Freeport three weeks ago and it was terrific. The prices on it vary, as the sizes of the lobsters vary. I had a small one that was $12.50. You can get bigger. Next time I will. Go on tripadvisor and check it out. Oh, and the drinks were great, too.
