Lady Lucy Posted December 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Hi, We are going on a 4 night cruise on the Dream on 12/11/11. Can anyone tell me which night will be formal night and on which night they will have the Pirate Party? Thanks!
Dave_MaryJo Posted December 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2011 We are sailing in May and from our reservations showing on DIS website it says Pirate Deck Party is on Day 3. I didn't see anything about when is dress-up night.
ducklite Posted December 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 2, 2011 There is no "formal" night on the Dream, just one "dress up" night where a suit for men and nice dress for ladies is fine. Our Pirate night was as we were leaving Nassau, although we were on a three night, so YMMV.
rstout Posted December 6, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2011 We just got off a B2B starting 11/27 (I did post a review - I'm not sure if it's up yet). On the 4-night sailing, Day 1 was cruise casual. Day 2 (Nassau) was an optional dress-up night (they have photo stations set up in front of the tree, on the staircase, etc., so you have nice opportunities for photos, plus the characters are out in full force in their Christmas gear). Day 3 (Castaway Cay) was the pirate/cruise casual night (there were a lot more people dressed in pirate gear than I expected). Day 4 (actually another Castaway Cay day for us) was another optional dress-up night, I believe.
burnsbonanza Posted December 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2011 We got off the three day dream last week. Our Pirate night was the 2nd night...lvg Nassau. The dress up night was the last night. There was a wide range of dress for this night, as it is "optional".
