Has anyone used Ramond and Gregory tours in Samana?

Their tours seem considerably less expensive than Terry's.

 

Is it a 'get what you pay for' situation?

I can't speak for Ramond and Gregory tours in Samana but I can tell you that the experience I had on one of Terry's excursions (the low-impact #5) is one that I will never forget!!

 

I just got back from a 9 day cruise that one of the stops was Samana and while the shopping was nice in San Juan and St Thomas and the beach was nice in Labadee, my favorite memories will be in the Dominican Republic. From the sites, the tastes of the local fruits, the lunch on the beach and the beauty of the water fall, I can not give higher praises and it my opinion was 100% worth the cost.

Yes those guys are very friendly and professional and are just about the cheapest small tour operator in town of Samana !

 

I have notice that they have added all the details on their WEBSITE of the 9 different excursions they offer both to Hotel guests and Cruise Ship visitors.

 

They even give you a 15% discount when you reserve online. No money deposit up front, and you get to pay after your tour is done.

 

Just Google them, as they are easy to find.
