We like decent size olives as well.

But on some HAL ships they didn't even have olives for the cocktails in the bars/lounges.

We've all for better quality and decent sized olives...but no olives at all...What bar would put themselves in that position?

That beer selection is blech. Honey would not be happy. Maybe they will catch on to the craft/microbrew beer idea soon.

Yes, they sound very reasonable. Have there been any price increases since this was published? They are much cheaper than RCCL was last month.

Those were the prices we paid in July on the Amsterdam.

I haven't heard of anyone saying that they have gone up since then.

I see that under Gin they list Jonge Bols Jenever. DH would be such a happy camper if it was so. How can I find out if they really do have it?

If you doubt the menu, you can call ships services.

You can call Seattle, but I doubt if the people working there actually know what alcohols are supplied to the ships.

On our Dec sailing on the Noordam, the blended drinks were all made individually.

Mixology class (generally offered on sea days) is a great way to mingle and taste some of the new drinks they have introduced.

Thank you for including the non-alcoholic drinks. I never think they might have them, so never bother to look, but some of them sound very yummy, a nice switch from soda or ice tea.

That bar menu that I provided is still the same on all ships -- still the same prices.

It is possible that now the wine policy has changed, some of those prices may change as well.

We live near 32 wineries, so i prefer them, mostly...

So we will see. We usually don't do anything u can usually find at the grocery store.

thankyou for those prices..I cruise in October and first time on HAL so gives me some idea of what I am facing. Jave heard we can only bring 1 bottle of wine on board now. I am on a 22 day cruise so best ration it out HA HA:eek:

You are welcome. I keep looking for someone to post the new bar prices -- nothing yet.

For your October cruise, you can still take as much wine onto the ship as you want.

HAL changed the policy -- again -- new date is now January 31, 2014 when the new rules will go into effect.
