Appleton Estate -Has anyone every been?

We will be in port at Falmonth in Jan. Wanted to know...is it worth the drive and tour to go to Appleton Estate? Do we have time?

The appleton tour is really good, even for locals. I havent been ...yet, but I will one day when I get the chance. I have tons of friends who have done it and they completely enjoy it.......the alcohol doesnt hurt either lol.

 

Not too sure how long the tour takes, so cant help you if you have time, but I'll find out and letcha know.

Hi Ruth,

 

A tour to Appleton Estates from Falmouth takes about 5-6 hours (that includes the tour of the distillery, round trip transport and maybe lunch). It's quite a long drive but the trip is worth it.

 

It is usually combined with a trip to Black river safari, YS falls and/or the Pelican bar. I don't advise it however since you won't have enough time.
