crazy1here Posted December 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Hey ruth, The appleton tour is really good, even for locals. I havent been ...yet, but I will one day when I get the chance. I have tons of friends who have done it and they completely enjoy it.......the alcohol doesnt hurt either lol. Not too sure how long the tour takes, so cant help you if you have time, but I'll find out and letcha know. Any other info you want feel free to ask. JamaicanGuide Posted December 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2011 How long is the drive from Falmonth to the Appleton Estate? Hi Ruth, A tour to Appleton Estates from Falmouth takes about 5-6 hours (that includes the tour of the distillery, round trip transport and maybe lunch). It's quite a long drive but the trip is worth it. It is usually combined with a trip to Black river safari, YS falls and/or the Pelican bar. I don't advise it however since you won't have enough time. Here's some info about Appleton: http://yourjamaicantourguide.com/appleton-estate-rum-tour-in-jamaica.html Hope this helps!
