pkamison Posted December 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Thinking about a cruise...I would like to know which cabins may be available on the Island - is there a way to see what is available without going through your agent or calling Princess ? Princess Patches Posted December 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Yes, you can do a dummy booking on the Princess website by going under "Search Cruises" and selecting the cruise you want and the cabin category you prefer. The website will list up to 6 available cabins in whatever category you choose. If you are looking for a particular cabin, there is a box at the bottom of the page in which you can type the number of a particular cabin to see if it is available. When you are done, just click on "cancel booking".
caribill Posted December 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2011 If you go through the steps to look at pricing and availability for a cruise on the Princess web site (and at many online travel agency websites) you will get to a point where it will display available cabins for the category you are looking at: If it displays less than six cabins, then that is all that is available in that category. If it displays six cabins, then there are at least six cabins available, but will only show six of them. If all cabins are assigned in a category, you will either have the option of booking a guarantee or be told it is wait list only or sold out. On that page, there is also a space to enter in a specific cabin number, so if six cabins are displayed (meaning there are at least six available), you can enter in a specific cabin number and see if it is available. If a travel agency has a block of cabins reserved but not yet sold, they will not be shown on the Princess web site, but should be seen on that travel agent's web site.
