Allure - phones for rent

Are there phones available for rent on the Allure - just want to keep our party together

I hope not. It's annoying listening to people talk on phones since they always talk extra loudly. Why not just make arrangements to meet at a certain place and time and let everyone enjoy themselves rather than being joined at the hip?

yes there are. It's 30 dollars per phone and 1000 dollars if you lose them!

Wow - 30 per phone so that's at least 60$ and 1000 if you loose them??? Would walkie talkies "work" sufficiently to find one another? We have used them on smaller ships and they worked. Maybe Allure would be too large. Any insights?

Most walkie talkies have a range of a mile. Dealing with the mass of the ship might be a concern, but I would expect them to work. Going to try on my allure cruise.
