timberchop Posted April 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2004 We're looking at booking the Sun for a January family reunion cruise. As there is a vast array of ages, we were wondering what kind of entertainment we could expect. We've previously sailed RCL, Celebrity and HAL. Would we be seeing magicians, big bands, classical music, comedians, illusionists???? I can't seem to find anything about this anywhere. Also, with the freestyle dining, what do they do about show times? Are there more than one per evening? Any information would be great! cliffd64 Posted April 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2004 You should expect broadway style revues and musicals, possibly comedy magic, comedians, etc.... There are also other "guest" related shows run by the cruise directors staff... like the "Not So Newlywed Game", "Who wants to be a millionaire", and "Liars Club" that are very entertaining as well. For the dancers in your group: There are bands playing big band music, top 40, carribean, and all sorts of dancing/musical entertainment. Show times vary. Some nights there are two show times for the production shows (one early one later), and other nights only one (later). You just need to plan your evening (including dinner) based on the inofrmation in your Freestyle Daily newspaper Cliff Carnival Holiday November 2001 Norwegian Sky 11/4/2002 Norwegian Sky 11/11/2002 Norwegian Wind 10/11/2003 Norwegian Dawn 12/14/2003 Norwegian Sun 02/08/2004
