Wine store near Rocky Point Tampa

Does anyone have any recommendations for some place near Rocky Point to buy nice wine? I will have a rental car so can go just about anywhere.

Wine is sold in grocery stores in Florida. Rocky Point is an island just off Tampa (with a four lane road running from Tampa to Clearwater) and I think there's a grocery store there. If not, I would drive west to Clearwater where there are plenty of stores of all types within 10 minutes.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Rocky Point twice for pre-cruise. The SweetBay Grocery & Liquor store at 2525 North Dale Mabry will be your closest. Here is their link. There is also a Walgreens that sells wine. It is located at the Intersection of Kennedy Blvd and Westshore Blvd. It is pretty close so the front desk at your hotel should be able to give you directions as well.

 

There is a wine shop directly across the street from the port of Tampa. It is open at 11am 7 days a week. This may be another option for you. Here is their link.
