Getting from Orlando to Port Canaveral port?

We are looking at the Carnival Dream out of Port Canaveral, but would be flying into Orlando (or Sanford). What is the best/cheapest way to get from Orlando/Sanford to the port? Looks like it's about an hour away.

From Sanford, the best & cheapest way is by one-way rental car via State Roads 417 & 528 (The Beachline). There will be tolls, so stay to the far right lane to pay. Having a few quarters handy would be helpful too.

 

From Orlando (MCO), simply take The Beachline (SR 528) east about 45-50 minutes.

Besides renting a car, is there a shuttle service? I'd imagine anyone flying into Orlando for a Port Canaveral cruise would need a shuttle.
