Unable to upload photos to Photo Gallery

Hello,

 

I tried to upload a photo for the first time onto Photo Gallery and am unable to do it. Photo is about 120kb and 1200x900 in dimension. Name has no spaces in it.

 

This is the error message I receive after clicking the "Submit" button.

 

/var/www/html/pictures.cruisecritic.com/uploads/646589: Error creating directory (check permissions). Please notify the System Administrator.

 

Could someone tell what I am doing wrong?
