RuthlessBoss Posted December 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Who would waste their time doing laundry on a 3 or 4 night cruise? If the cost is the same as Liberty, it's $3 to wash and $3 to dry, plus soap cost.

Maybe the OP just wants to use the iron.
RuthlessBoss Posted December 17, 2011 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2011 My remark wasn't meant to be nasty. It's just that their cruises are so short, it's a shame to waste time running back and forth to do laundry. Get all you can from a short cruise, do laundry at home. Longer cruises, it might be adviseable. Myself, I neatly fold up the dirties and place them in a plastic bag, it doesn't take much room that way. joybaby Posted December 17, 2011 #8 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Take $20 worth of quarters, own detergent, thin metal hangers, collapsible laundry bag. It will save you a lot of time.
gaylenhazel Posted December 18, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Thank you for your help. I am doing a trade show in Orlando before getting on this cruise. No time to go back to SC to wash clothes. It would work great if I could do it just as we set sail. Actually laundry is relaxing for me. Bring it on!!! :)

I got on the cruise ship on my 4th day of vacation....(i flew to florida in advance) and i did not want to pack alot of clothes....Airlines charge $25 per bag $3 per wash is pretty cheap... serene56 Posted December 18, 2011 #11 Share Posted December 18, 2011 it's a shame to waste time running back and forth to do laundry. . i throw laundry in to wash before I head to the buffet for breakfast- by the time i am done eating--i throw the wash into the dryer--then head back to the cabin to get ready for the day. Its far from running back and forth--
