Italian Restaurant......

I haven't actually eaten at La Pergola for the longest time. A couple of weeks ago I happened to be at the Waterfortboogjes twice in a week for dinner at Perla del Mar (sort of neighbouring Pergola) and on both nights it was really quiet. A handful of patrons.

Perla del Mar also has the nice views, but the food there is hit and miss. One time it was excellent and the other time it was so bad we had to send everything back. This restaurant is owned by the same people that have a steakhouse in the Riffort Village. Also hit and miss, so I guess they rotate the "good" chef...:D

As far as Italian, the one place that gets rave reviews now is Pane e Vino in the Penstraat (towards the Avila Beach hotel). No views, but superior food.
