Pigeon Island Hike and Swim

We did this last year on HAL. The museum at the historic site was very lame. So lame it was funny, actually, but we did learn some history. There are bathrooms there to change into swimsuits if you want. The hike was great. Wide trail, groomed, to hilltop view....just gorgeous. If you didn't want to hike you could just go to the beach right away. Beach was OK. Nothing grand. Lounges to rent, plenty of shade. Nice place to read a book and snooze. Little beach bar down the way where they take you for your free drink. And there was a tiny bit of snokeling off the beach around the rock piles. But bring your own snorkel gear. I didn't see any place to rent any. Have fun!
