ropes and zipline challenge in Ketchican

I understand the Rainforest Ropes & Zip Challenge Course is new and only offered to cruises. (At least the Princess cruises). Has anyone had a chance to do it yet? Is it safe for a 12-year-old and 15-year-old. I'm not in great shape and figure I should opt out, but sure would like to try. Thanks for any info.

Also, I'm hoping I can ride to this site even though I won't be participating, but not sure who to call to find this information. Thanks!!:)

This is a new tour that is still under construction. It should be completed by

the first of May in time for cruise ship season. I am sure it will be safe.

swissy: When are you going to Alaska? I am going late May will be in Ketchikan 5/25 and will be doing that excursion. I'll let you know.
