Best Bar on Grand

Hi, we are meeting friends on the Grand next month who will get to the ship later than us - where would be the best outside bar which will be open to meet up with them? We have not seen them for 18 years so really looking forward to the cruise. Also, what time should we get down to the port to board the ship as we will be in Ft Lauderdale a few days before - I am elite if that makes a difference and we want to get on board ASAP. If it was me I would choose the bar by the aft pool. It is covered so even if it's raining you stay nice and dry.

I agree. The aft bar right outside of the Buffet. You can get down to the pier around 11 and you may be able to check in. The last time we were in FLL we got onboard the ship at 1130 - I'm Platinum.
