Either take the Gray Line bus or a shared shuttle van. Since there's a good volume of passengers between LAX and DL, it's unlikely a shared van will stop enroute to drop others off at residences or businesses. Also due to volume the fares on the van or bus are reasonable. I personally recommend Karmel Shuttle, browse this board and you will find many positive comments. That's not the case with Super Shuttle or Primetime, although they are usually OK.

We booked with a company called Sav-On Shuttle for LAX to Long Beach terminal. Private van for 8 and will include car seats or booster seats which is law in CA. Haven't travelled yet, but I will post once we do.

I second Disneyland Resort Express (Grayline). In California carseats or boosters are required for kids until age 8 or height 4'9" in taxis or shuttle vans, but not charter buses like Grayline. Sav-on shuttle mentioned above is the only one I've ever heard of that will provide a carseat. Also, the taxi will run upwards of $100. You may be able to book a Disney package that includes the park tickets, hotel and ground transportation.
