Curacao casino

There are 3 casinos very close to the pier. The first one is Carnaval Casino in the Renaissance hotel, right where you dock. On your way downtown you will see the Howard Johnson casino (I believe it's called Curacao Casino) on your left. A little further, the Otrabanda Casino. Past the Otrabanda Casino you will find Kura Hulanda Casino, across the bridge at the Plaza hotel, also a casino.

There are 2 others (Pelican and San Marco, but I don't recommend those. Very crowded, lots of smoke and dingy).

Carnaval Casino in the Renaissance hotel is the biggest in Curacao (claim from the brochure) but small by Vegas standards; it's 1-2 min from dock. Opens quite early (10-11am). Lots of slots; 2-3 BJ tables ($10 min), carribean stud poker and 2 roulette tables. Drinks are free and unfortunately smoking allowed.
