Epic Casino

If you take the aft elevators, you do not have to truly walk through the casino, but you will see gaming machines very near the entrance to Manhattan DR. as I recall aft elevator lobby contains a bar with a few built in gaming machines in the center, the entrance to Manhattan DR aft of the lobby, and the main casino stretching forward from that bar.

Do you have to walk through the casino to get to the Manhattan Dining Room?

Sorta depends on where you start, but there's always a way there without crossing through the casino. I guess the answer is technically no.

Also, when I was on the Epic last January I walked through the casino during the daytime hours without really noticing any smoke. There were few gamblers at that time, though. I stayed away during the evening. I suspect you won't find it too bad before 7 or 8 p.m.
