Margaritaville?

OK all you parrotheads,

 

I have been to the Margaritaville in Ocho Rios, Grand Turk, and Grand Cayman. This last cruise I went to one in Cozumel. I have collected glasses at each one. So far they are all the same except Cozumel. Cozumel has a different menu, differant glasses, and when you go the the Margaritaville website it does not list one in Cozumel. So my question is, Is the one in Cozumel a knock off Margaritaville or is it the real thing.

The info on the website shows Margaritaville Caribbean partnering up with Jimmy B's Margaritaville as the Caribbean franchisee and opening up the spots in Jamaica, MoBay, Ocho Rios and the others. You say Cozumel has a different menu and glasses, I'm curious if its a different franchisee. The link above lists an opening date of 5/20/2007. There is no way JB would allow any copyright infringement to go on that long.

Margaritaville Cozumel is listed on the Magaritaville Cancun site, not the Margaritaville Caribbean site.

I've been to the one in Mobay , Heaed to Key West next week

and will be in the Cayman's on my cruise and will go by that one also

Yes --It is real thing. We have been to all Margaritvilles. We like Key West and MoBay the best:):)

Yep. Real thing. They sell genuine Margaritaville paraphernalia in the gift shop too. Nice place, but make sure you bring your wallet.
