MindTheGap1918 Posted December 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2011 I'm getting married in St. Thomas in 2 weeks and using an on-island wedding coordinator. For those who have done this/planning this, are you supposed to tip the coordinator? When she sent me my price quote, it said gratuities not included and I'm not sure who all is supposed to get a tip! Any input would be appreciated! :)
LilBlackDress Posted January 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2012 typically what I was told is about 20.00 per person involved is the avg. Scaled up or down based on performance I guess... 20.00 for the coordinator and 20.00 for the person preforming the wedding. Some photographers/videographers can not accept tips some can... If you are having a reception with them, either the head waiter and/or a lil something to all the wait staff. Its easier if you have a family member or best man/maid of honor hand out the tips you can also ask the coordinator beforehand who and how much normally get a tip and use that as a guide.
