$100 discount for plat - already booked?

I found a great $800pp rate for a Navigator cruise and booked with an online agency that said they could not afford the $100 discount because of the already super low rate I got. Do you know if RCCL will give the discount as an onboard credit? I heard something like this before, I think.

RCCL will not talk to you about discounts. They have to come from the TA. Is the price that RCL is charging now a lot more than what you're paying. Where did you find the $100 discount.

Why not contact Crown/Anchor directly and ask them about getting the discount? I wonder if the Platinum discounts are directly from RCI, not the TA-

On our last cruise our TA said the same thing, your price is already discounted so much, (She was right about that) but low and behold RCCL also gave us the $100 for being platinum members! That made the pricing even better. But our TA was the one that talked to RCCL and got the $100.
