Su&Andy Posted April 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2005 "Our Best Steward on Board" presented us with an entire set of dinner and dessert menus on our last night in the Rotterdam. Andy had asked him for copies the first evening, but thought he had forgotten. Then as we were extending our fond farewells and much deserved thank yous, he reached under the cupboard and voila! We also saved all of our daily cruise activity sheets for the entire March 31st extended cruise. If any of you all out there are interested, we will scan them hopefully by the weekend and try to post or email copies. We know as first time cruisers, we wish that we had more info before departing. It tooks us several days to figure out the routine.
karbar Posted April 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Thanks for keeping everybody posted :) Do you remember the name of the piano player in the Piano Bar? We are going out on the 21st and I am really getting excited!
CrabbyHarper Posted April 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2005 ditto on the thanks to Su and Andy! Karbar - are you going out April 21? Did you know there is a very lively group of us who have been chatting on the Roll Call board? Some of us are meeting the night before at the Holidy Sands in Norfolk, and there is a gathering on ship at 11:30 on April 22. You'd be most welcome to join the group. I forget whether we meet at the Ocean Bar or the Crow's Nest - but I'll check and let you know. Keeping fingers crossed that all is well - but our group has great 'tudes and we will cope with whatever!

It tooks us several days to figure out the routine. We would love to see the activity sheets if you have time to scan them as we are taking the Maasdam Eastern Caribbean for Thanksgiving this time. Our Holiday cruise was the Southern. Enjoyed your updates greatly. While we arrived Norfolk before 7:30am on January 2, we had not departed until midnight on Dec. 22. We "rock 'n rolled" the first day or so down, and also back. But it certainly sounds like your trip was a whole lot more rocky. Can't wait for your complete review. Hope you enjoyed your first cruise as much as we did. Linda & Vern waiting for upcoming Nov. 16 Maasdam
Sweetdreams Posted April 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Would love to see the activity sheets (to get organized ahead of time!) and menus. Also, anxiously awaiting your review of the overall cruise experience, helpful tips, and excursions you enjoyed. Thanks so much. :)
