Two years ago I flew Air New Zealand from LA to Australia, stop-over in New Zealand...and have to say it was a most enjoyable flight! We were in coach, and the seats were very comfortable..AND I have to say my husband, son and I were no "lightweights"..and that was like a 14 hour flight. The sides of the headrest can be curved to give your head more support for dozing, and there was a foot rest, although not elevated, but there to make your feet more comfortable....

I realize not all planes are the same, but I would fly Air New Zealand again in a heartbeat!

Congratulations on your up coming wedding!

Both are fine.

Air New Zealand has slightly more amenities.

Air Taihiti Nui - their A340 is surprisingly quiet. We had flew them in a full to the beam plane from PPT back to LAX. The plane itself was quieter than we expected.

Air New Zealand is one of the best airlines in the world !!!!!!!

Well ,being a New Zealander

I would have to say that,wouldnt I?

However, I have flown both ANZ and Tahiti Nui across the Pacific, and they are both very good. With Tahiti Nui your Tahitian experience starts as soon as step onto the plane.
