Miami Port to FLL for 6:30 pm flight

ANy suggestions how to spend the day and coordinate transportation? We will have already spent a day at South Beach prior to the cruise, so not sure we want to do that again.

I will throw out what Carol & I have done several times in the past. We will rent a car from Alamo (they will pick you up at the terminal) and arrange to drop it off at their FLL location. We will drive up the coast on Collins and look at the sites. We pick a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale on the beach, eat a nice lunch/watch the sites.

 

One time we got a very reduced rate (no fuel charges) because they had vehicles at their SOBE location that they wanted back at FLL.
